麦城
麦城(1962-)，出生于沈阳、生活在大连。1982年从事诗歌创作。曾于2000年出版《麦城诗集》，作品多次在《人民文学》等刊物上发表，并参加了2001年日本世界诗人大会。
麦城的诗词全集： 《形而上学的上游》 《梦里的蚂蚁》 《歌剧的圈套》 《玻璃电梯》《祭祀 ——献给我的外公和外婆》《失题》。
Across the Centuries
Granny Chronicle
when I’d done my homework up to how the wind blows away the dust
granny’s Shandong accent
was lit by the fairytales in the matchbox
while the kettle’s boiling
just for you I’ll steep that cup of tea in the mirror
she’d kneel in front of the stove
and to my future
she’d add the village’s smoke and fire
the misprints in the schoolbooks
burned with a crackle-crackle
in the flames trickling from the stove
scalding hot water
had boiled granny’s reticence
she raised the teapot, pointed
to the cup that stood in the mirror
and for me she steeped my faraway years, not a metre tall yet

Symbols
the roses in granny’s hands
were planted in pots
waiting for the western metaphor to grow
when she could comb
her worries to the back of her head
she’d doff these alien landscapes
and from the village come to town
granny goes into the florist to ask
how to purchase love
the florist smiles and replies
